Dissolved
0.044 g of I in 0.5 mL of dry THF. Stirred at rt. Added 0.017 g of H5IO6. After 40 min, the solvent was removed
by rotary evaporation. The product
was isolated by flash chromatography on silica gel using 10:90 EtOAc-hexanes as
eluant. The product was a clear,
pale yellow oil.
